Our Review
This self-leveling 360° laser delivers solid performance for general construction and picture hanging tasks. The cross-line projection is bright enough indoors and the tripod is reasonably stable on uneven surfaces. The rechargeable battery is convenient, though I got about 8 hours of continuous use before needing a charge—acceptable for a day's work but not exceptional.
Accuracy held within 1/8" at 30 feet, which is adequate for framing and most rough carpentry. The self-leveling mechanism responded quickly, usually settling within 3 seconds. However, the tripod feels slightly wobbly on concrete; I'd recommend adding weight to the base for precision work. The laser is visible in moderate ambient light but struggles in bright sunlight.
Build quality is middling—the housing feels plastic-heavy and the leveling feet could be sturdier. After three months of jobsite use, I noticed minor calibration drift, requiring a manual adjustment. It's a capable entry-level tool that works fine for DIYers and smaller jobs, but pros should consider investing in a more robust model.
